Parker earned his PGA Membership in 1998 after graduating from Towson University where he captained his golf team. He was the 1st Assistant and Director of Instruction at Green Spring Valley Hunt Club for 10 years. Parker also worked as a Teaching Professional at The Elkridge Club, Arundel Golf Park, and The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL. Over the past 20 years, Parker has continued learning the latest in instruction technique and technologies through seminars, workshops, and practical experience in order to become a well rounded Professional and master of his craft. Parker has given over 8,000 lessons in his career and taught several talented players who have qualified for for such events as U.S. Amateurs and U.S. Junior Amateurs and who have won the Middle Atlantic Amateur and Maryland Junior Amateur. Parker takes pride in shaping the abilities of all players and shares the belief that on-course instruction is crucial to individual improvement as well as the short game. Parker is an expert fitter and MATT System instructor as well.
